“A Living Museum between East and West — Foundation Frison Horta Brussels

Nupur tron

Foundation Frison Horta in Brussels is an organic, “living museum,” which provides a cultural bridge between India and Europe. Through restoration, preservation and the sharing of knowledge, the foundation aims to revive culture and craftsmanship of a by-gone era. The Hotel Frison and its winter garden — a hidden gem, open to the public for the first time since its completion in 1894 — have been carefully restored to create an extraordinary time capsule of Art Nouveau craftsmanship, including original furniture and decorative arts. Join owner, founder, and building resident Nupur Tron on her exciting journey to restore this singular building and its environs to create a-one-of-a-kind period setting, where guests can discover the connection between the past and the future as well as influences of Indian landscape and architecture on the West.
