Directed by John Ford (1949), 104 min.

The last job of Calvary Captain Nathan Brittles (John Wayne) before retirement is to soothe relations with the Cheyenne and Arapaho after Custer's last stand. At the same time, he must transport the wife and niece of his commanding officer to a safe destination. After both his missions stall, Brittles attempts a face-to-face meeting with an important Chief in order to stave off an impending war.

Neue Galerie New York is delighted to present Filmbar, a newly imagined movie series hosted in Café Fledermaus. Filmbar tickets include one complimentary drink and snack, and a movie screening in Café Fledermaus, a relaxed bar atmosphere reminiscent of early twentieth century Vienna. During the screening, you are invited to sip on a glass of wine, beer or a non-alcoholic beverage and enjoy a savory treat.

6:00 p.m. |  Screening begins. Bar open with wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks for purchase.
