Ute lemper with vana gierig

When Ute Lemper takes the stage, we are instantly transported to the fleeting moment of wild experimentation that bloomed in pre-war progressive Germany. A two-time Grammy nominee, Lemper has been universally praised for her renditions of Berlin cabaret songs, the works of Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht, and the chansons of Marlene Dietrich, Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel. In her highly anticipated return to Café Sabarsky, these much-loved numbers will receive the passionate acerbic interpretation that is this star’s signature style.
