SANDA WEIGL WITH ROB SCHWIMMER

With a voice of unsurpassed beauty (All About Jazz) and an unforgettable style of dramatic interpretation, Sanda Weigl is a captivating and powerful performer and artist. Immersed in the folk songs of her native Romania and the cabaret lyrics penned by her uncle, Bertolt Brecht, Weigl has triumphed on stages around the world throughout her illustrious and genre-defying career. Weigl returns to Cabaret at Café Sabarsky this season with a new program that celebrates love, light, and joy, in honor of the Neue Galerie’s singular “Klimt Landscapes” exhibition.

CABARET AT CAFé SABARSKY

The Neue Galerie is delighted to present Cabaret at Café Sabarsky. This exceptional series pays homage to the German and Austrian theatrical culture of the 1890s to 1930s through intimate evenings of sumptuous cuisine and performances by acclaimed artists.

Tickets include the cost of a three-course dinner at 7 p.m. followed by a Cabaret performance at 9 p.m., as well as tax and gratuity. Beverages are sold separately on the evening of the program. All reservations are for shared-table seating. Sustaining-level members and above may request a private table. Tickets are final sale.
