Kim David Smith With Tracy Stark

Australian cabaret star Kim David Smith returns to Café Sabarsky with a brilliant and highly personal interpretation of the iconic Weimar diva Marlene Dietrich—and who better to pay tribute to this icon than the “male Marlene Dietrich” (New York Times)? In this singular show, clad in costumes by Miodrag Guberinic (who has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, and Madonna), Smith conjures the glitter and doom of 1920s Berlin through music and fashion, the cultural legacy of the Weimar era.

Cabaret at CafÉ Sabarsky

The Neue Galerie is delighted to present Cabaret at Café Sabarsky. This inimitable series pays homage to the German and Austrian theatrical culture of the 1890s to 1930s through intimate evenings of sumptuous cuisine and performances by acclaimed artists.

Tickets include the cost of a three-course dinner at 7 p.m. followed by a Cabaret performance at 9 p.m., as well as tax and gratuity. Beverages are sold separately on the evening of the program. Seating is shared. Sustaining-level members and above may request a private table. Tickets are final sale.
