KIM DAVID SMITH
Australian Kim David Smith conjures the glitter, doom, and decadence of 1920’s Berlin with “Morphium Kabarett.” Named for the sensual, Spoliansky-penned waltz, this program features the standards of Hollaender, Weill, and Spoliansky, mixed with Kylie Minogue, The Supremes, and many unexpected others, in a neo-Weimar cabaret fantasia.
Café Sabarsky opens its doors for seating at 7 p.m., when the three course, prix-fixe dinner begins. Dinner service ends just prior to 9 p.m., which is when the performance begins.
In the spirit of Austrian and German Cabaret, all seating for the program is shared. Guests are seated on a first-come first-served basis. Members are able to make special seating requests by contacting (212) 628-6200 ext. 485.
Ticket cost is $140 per person, and is taken in two payments- the performance cost and the dinner cost. First, the nonrefundable performance cost of $65 per person is charged in order to secure the reservation. Please note that this charge is nonrefundable. The dinner cost of $75 per person is charged by the Café staff the evening of the performance. Please note that this charge does not yet include beverages, tax, or gratuity.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the performance or no-shows will be charged the full ticket cost.
