With songs spanning from Paris to Berlin, and then back to New York, celebrated husband-and-wife duo Amy Burton and John Musto return to Café Sabarsky for an elegant evening of music. Burton’s Soprano voice “could make you weep” (Washington Post), while Musto, “an extraordinarily gifted pianist” (The New Yorker), sets the tone for a virtuosic journey in song.

CABARET AT CAFÉ SABARSKY

Cabaret at Café Sabarsky in the Neue Galerie continues its unique series devoted primarily to German and Austrian theatrical performance of the 1890s to 1930s. The intimate 60-seat room is exquisitely appointed with period objects, including lighting fixtures by Josef Hoffmann and furniture by Adolf Loos, and features a Bösendorfer grand piano.

Performances ​are ​at 9 p.m., preceded by a prix-fixe dinner at 7 p.m. Ticket cost is $150 per person for these special performances. ($75 dinner, $75 performance. Guests must attend both dinner and performance and are responsible for total combined ticket cost. Ticket costs are nonrefundable. Tax, gratuity, and beverages are not included.)
